We are looking for a nurse to join our fixed night nursing team in Skanderborg Municipality as of February 1, 2027.

When night falls and citizens' needs change, it is us in the night nursing who create security, make clinical assessments and handle complex and palliative nursing tasks throughout Skanderborg Municipality.

We are now looking for a new colleague, because one of our good colleagues is going into retirement. Therefore we are looking for our third partner in the fixed night nursing team.

With us you become part of a fixed night nursing team where we prioritise high professionalism, good collegiality and security in task execution.

There are three fixed night nurses who work closely together, and we also collaborate with our skilled colleagues in the Resource Nursing Team, who also help cover the night shifts. This allows us to help each other, share knowledge and ensure professional sparring when needed.

We want to create good conditions for both citizens and employees. Therefore we are also working on organizing a shift plan that provides a good balance between work life and leisure. Our goal is that we in the future work every third weekend instead of every second, if you wish this.

About the job

As a night nurse with us

• You drive out to citizens across Skanderborg Municipality – in their own homes, at nursing homes and at residential facilities.
• You meet citizens with acute, complex and palliative nursing needs.
• You work closely with a fellow nurse at night, and have the opportunity for professional sparring.
• You perform independent clinical assessments and act on changes in the citizen’s condition.
• You provide professional sparring to SOSU helpers, SOSU assistants, pedagogues and unskilled staff in the municipality’s offerings.
• You contribute to competence development among colleagues through professional sparring and teaching.

You will have a daily life with great independence and responsibility, where your professionalism makes a real difference for the citizens – also when there is a need to think quickly and find good solutions in collaboration with others.

• Are a licensed nurse with clinical experience.
• Are professionally well-founded and have good clinical assessment skills.

• Are calm, stable and good at creating overview – also in acute situations.

• Have a driver's license.

Practical information

There is a permanent position of 30-37 hours per week with start on February 1, 2027. The hourly rate can be discussed.

Salary and terms follow the applicable collective agreement.

Prior to employment, a criminal record certificate, documentation of authorization and a driving license must be available.

Salary and terms are set according to the applicable collective agreement, including the fixed provisions for local pay formation.
