1-2 pedagogical assistants for Flyverfunktion at Børnehuset Skibet

We want to try something new, and we are looking for a couple of fresh new colleagues who with great enthusiasm, high professionalism and interest can take on the role of FLYVER in the pedagogical work in a large children’s house with good physical surroundings, many children, families and good colleagues.

FLYVER-function consists in supporting around in different groups in the children's house. You should have a desire to move around in varied tasks, age groups and not be in a fixed group.

There will be periods where you can be attached to a specific group, but you should be able to “FLY” further when the need is there.

The position is to be filled 01.11.2026 or as soon as possible.

Who are we?

Børnehuset Skibet is located at Ibsvej 3, 2880 Bagsværd, close to green areas and near public transport. We have a large, interesting house with good space as well as a relatively new large playground with opportunities for many pedagogical activities.

Børnehuset is divided into 8 groups spread over three departments with space for about 130 children aged 0 - 6 years.

Børnehuset Skibet is one of Gladsaxe’s Education Houses for both PAU & Pedagogy students.

We have a strong parent collaboration with a clear communication policy.

We have a diverse staff composition - men/women/ethnicity as well as staff with different experiences.

At Skibet we have a strong focus on working from a professional base that supports work with children's development, learning and well-being, as well as participation opportunities for ALL children. But we also wish to become better together. The staff at Skibet are curious about professional and personal development - adaptable and prepared for new knowledge and learning.

In Børnehuset Skibet there are good physical environments, both indoors and outdoors, that can support division into smaller groups where children and adults can immerse themselves in play and activities.

We have a strong focus on organizing our learning environment according to the children’s development and we work largely with age-divided groups.

The same applies to our outdoor space, which means that we have divided the outdoor area into 3 playgrounds, so that each team has its own playground. The playgrounds are adjusted to the age groups that use them.

All children in Skibet participate in age-divided project groups together with fixed adults. Here the work is based on the children’s input, the 6 curriculum themes with competencies & learning goals.

In Børnehuset Skibet we work project-oriented with age-divided child groups based on children's development, play and learning. In the 3 departments, a meeting structure has been arranged that ensures pedagogical preparation time as well as planning, reflection and evaluation.

Gladsaxe Municipality's professional framework is the basis for the pedagogy that will ensure the child’s learning journey aboard Skibet.

We continuously support work with leadership nearby, coaching and internal courses. The position is 37 hours per week. If a full-time position is not right for you, we are happy to discuss another number of hours.
