2 consultants for the administration of the Children and Family Administration

Do you want to support leadership, development, and coherence in the children and youth area of Thisted Municipality? Are you motivated by creating an overview, driving processes, and translating ideas and decisions into concrete results in collaboration with our schools, day care, and family counseling?

Thisted Municipality is seeking, with a start on January 1, 2027, two consultants in the administration of the Children and Family Administration. You will become part of a consultancy team that supports the leadership across the departments of the Children and Family Counseling as well as School and Day Care.

We offer positions where you will play a central role in creating qualified decision bases, supporting management processes, and ensuring progress in both small and large development projects. You will contribute to the strategic and administrative support of the management group and the management organization in the 0-18 years area.

With regard to one of the positions, we would like you to have experience from the education or school sector.

Your tasks

As a consultant with us, you will work closely with the management group, section heads, and other key people across School and Day Care as well as Children and Family Counseling – both within the administration and close to practice at, among other places, our schools and day care centers.

Your tasks will include, among other things, to

• strengthen the cohesion between Children and Family Counseling and School and Day Care through cross-cutting collaboration.
• prepare decision proposals, case presentations, and presentation materials for leadership and political committees.
• support and work with the implementation of new initiatives and political decisions.
• support and organize leadership and manager meetings, including agenda preparation, minutes, follow-up, and coordination.
• be the responsible project lead on both larger and smaller projects within the children and youth area.
• prepare and develop management information, analyses, and data bases to support managerial decisions.

We imagine that you have

• Relevant academic education or professional education with relevant continuing education.
• Experience with project management, process management, and organizational development.
• Thrives in the crossfield between strategy, development, and operations.
• Can translate data and analyses into usable management information and decision support.
• Works analytically, structured, and independently, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience from a politically led organization is an advantage.

About us

The administration of the Children and Family Administration supports leadership and operations across the Children and Family Counseling as well as School and Day Care. We work with development, political servicing, economy, analysis, projects, and management support. You will become part of a total staff group of 19 people. We emphasize professional quality, collaboration, and solution orientation, and we work every day to create the best conditions for children, young people, and families in Thisted Municipality.

Employment

The positions are permanent with a 37-hour work week.

Salary is determined according to applicable collective agreement and principles for local pay formation. The specific salary range will be stated prior to the interview.
