About the job

Are you passionate about creating meaningful employment and development opportunities for citizens with special needs? Can you support citizens' personal development and work purposefully with protected employment? Do you dream of combining pedagogy, protected employment and cross-collaboration in an exciting maternity leave replacement?

If you answer 3 x YES and at the same time want to work with and for citizens with mental and physical disabilities - then perhaps you are the maternity leave replacement we are looking for!

About the Center for Brain Injury & Employment

The Center for Brain Injury and Employment (CHB) is part of the Municipality of Aabenraa and addresses young people and adults with acquired or congenital brain injury, psychological vulnerability, as well as citizens with physical or mental disabilities.

We accommodate around 250 citizens and 180 employees spread across seven sites in the Municipality of Aabenraa. The center consists of four departments, each with its own department head, from which we run residential facilities in Tinglev and Kliplev, provide residential support to citizens in their own homes, and offer protected employment at two sites. In addition, we have citizens in activity and social interaction offerings, in the specially arranged youth education (STU) and in adult and special education (VSU).

Our work is based on the municipality's development strategy “The good life together” with a focus on the core task: Health, Mastery and Community Building.

CHB's vision is: We are a “We”! We are: attractive, competent and co-creating.

We are a workplace with room for development, where culture and job satisfaction go hand in hand.

As we say: ”It should be fun to be here – but we are not here for fun.”

We work from a rehabilitative and appreciative approach, where citizens' resources, wishes and potentials are in the center.
