3 Public health nurses sought for permanent positions in Vejle Municipality

We are looking for new colleagues who want to become part of a well-functioning Health Visiting service, where we all have a strong focus on delivering high quality in the core task with an early and health-promoting effort for pregnant women, infants, and schoolchildren.

About the job

District Central: Bredagerskolen and Skovagerskolen (special school) on a shared site. The schools are shared with another colleague, as well as servicing infants and young children in the Jelling area, 32 hours/week

District Central: Bredsten-Gadbjerg School, as well as servicing infants and young children in the area, 32 hours/week

District North: Petersmindeskolen, which is shared with another colleague + Grejsdals School, as well as servicing infants and young children in the areas of Uhrhøj and Grejsdal, 32 hours/week

About us

The Health Visiting Service in Vejle Municipality is part of the Children and Youth Administration under Family and Prevention.

In Vejle Municipality, the health visiting tasks are carried out by 42 health visitors and a secretariat, who together support children, young people and families in the municipality.

The Health Visiting Service is organized with a Chief Health Visitor, two district leaders and a professional consultant in charge of the secretariat.

An organizational membership in the Vejle Health Visiting Service, which consists of an active and engaged group of health visitors with a broad mix of both experienced and recently trained colleagues. The health visitors are organized into three geographically defined districts and all work in combined arrangements.

In our work community we have a strong focus on the Health Visiting Service's core task, and the related tasks, based on evidence-based methods, e.g.

NBO, PUF, AIMS and MindMapping. All our health visitors are trained and certified in the above methods, which is also offered to our new permanent colleague.

You will be assigned a mentor from your district during the introduction period, and we offer supervision and professional leadership close at hand.

We are looking for health visitors who wish to contribute with

• An inclusive and dynamic understanding of the work community
• High professional competence and engagement with a focus on the core task
• Involvement in both mono-professional and interprofessional tasks
• Focus on a holistic approach to working with children, young people and families
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility and the ability to prioritize and plan in daily life

Employment terms

Start date: January 1, 2027

Salary according to the applicable collective agreement.
