Are you passionate about mathematics and strong communities in early schooling?

Then you might be the person we are looking for for an exciting position where you become an important part of a closely collaborating team around our youngest students.

We are looking for an engaged teacher who can teach mathematics in early years (0th-3rd grade) and who is open to or experienced with Co-teaching, who wants to work in a school where community, wellbeing and learning go hand in hand.

About the position

You will become part of a team where we work with co-teaching between teachers and pedagogues. This means that you are not alone, but plan, implement and evaluate teaching in close collaboration with your colleagues.

We imagine that you

• Are a trained teacher with specializations or competencies in mathematics
• Have interest in or experience with co-teaching
• Have a sense for students in different learning positions
• Have knowledge of DSA (Danish as a second language) – it is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Are relationship-focused and contribute positively to both student and colleague communities

What can we offer?

Aalykkeskolen is a department-divided primary school with about 480 students spread across two tracks. Our after-school club (SFO) is an integrated part of the school, where cross-professional collaboration greatly supports the students' learning and wellbeing. Over the past three years, there has been an increased focus on co-teaching in the form of a comprehensive competence uplift, where teachers and pedagogues have developed themselves and each other together.

There are about 50 dedicated staff members who come in every day to make a good school even better. Through good relationships and academic ambitions, the aim is to create a meaningful community.

Although Aalykkeskolen is Kolding Municipality's oldest school, we have updated physical facilities, centrally located in the town center of Kolding.
