About the position

We are seeking a skilled generalist who is interested in and experienced with working closely with the management, and who can help strengthen the management secretariat’s task solving in relation to coordinating cross-cutting case handling and delivering tasks at a high professional level. You will become part of our management secretariat consisting of AC consultants and secretaries who work closely together on the team’s tasks on a daily basis.

We can offer you an insight behind the walls into an exciting organization that many Danes only know from the outside. In addition, we can offer a good professional and social environment in the management secretariat, and we always bring a positive mood – even when things are moving fast.

As an employee in the management secretariat, we collaborate and support broadly – both with our top management, the office heads at the District Office and the institutional heads in operations, but also across the prison districts and the Danish Prison Service.

  • Leadership and organizational development and strategy support

Who are you?

You must as our new employee be focused on delivering a high level of service and quality in task execution. Your strong relational skills and your talent for collaboration, service and communication mean that you quickly establish a good and trusting collaboration. You have a good overview, think cross-disciplinary, and are keen to solve many diverse tasks – sometimes with tight deadlines – in collaboration with many stakeholders. Finally, you work in a structured and proactive manner, which ensures you follow your tasks through to the finish.

Your qualifications

We expect that you have several of the following qualifications

  • Have [some] experience with secretariat support, academic case processing, internal communication, project work as well as leadership and organizational development and strategy support
  • You like to handle many balls in the air and can maintain an overview and prioritize between tasks when things are moving fast
  • You thrive with both routine tasks and completely new tasks – even if they come with a very short deadline
  • It comes natural to you to coordinate and think cross-cutting in your task solving
  • You have a sharp pen, are skilled at written case presentations and take pride in expressing yourself concisely and precisely in writing
  • Have a good understanding of organization and can manage stakeholders and collaborate across disciplines and organizational levels in an organization characterized by change and high media and political attention
