About the job

Does it motivate you to be the link between top management and the clinical departments, are you a strong coordinator and do you want to contribute to creating an overview and coherence at Sygehus Lillebælt, where we put the patient first, then you may be the AC consultant we are looking for to the staff function Strategy and Council.

Tasks

Strategy and Council is a part of the staff at Sygehus Lillebælt that supports and assists the hospital's management and clinical departments with, among other things, secretarial tasks.

The position is attached to the secretariat team, but you will work broadly across the rest of Strategy and Council, the other staff and the hospital’s many clinical departments. In the secretariat we work with strategic support for the hospital’s management. In practice, it is about both supporting the management’s daily work and the strategic work, which is often in close cooperation with the other staff, the clinical departments and in the form of external partners, such as general practitioners and municipalities.

Our new colleague will primarily work with

  • Coordinating and drafting responses to external inquiries, e.g. from patients and their relatives or partners, e.g. in the form of complaints addressed to the management/the hospital
  • Coordinating and drafting responses to access to information requests from, for example, citizens and interest organizations.
  • Contributing to the department’s tasks concerning patient compensation and complaints in general, including case handling in collaboration with the clinical departments and the dialogue with the Danish Patient Complaints Board, Patient Compensation and the affected citizens.
  • Supporting the hospital’s other staff and clinical departments in clarifying administrative and/or health legal issues in cooperation with the region’s lawyers etc.
  • Contributing to the work of coordinating and drafting responses to selected national or regional hearings and explanations for, for example, the political level.

In addition, you will also, as needed, participate in the other tasks the department handles, e.g. secretariat services, case processing, main mailbox, notes, etc., depending on where your help is most needed. In Strategy and Council everyone is expected to support each other during illness, vacation periods or in busy periods in general.

Who are you?

We expect that you have a relevant master's degree, e.g. within social or health sciences, and experience from the health sector with one or more of the mentioned task fields. If you have insight into health law and our electronic medical record (EPJ) or are keen to gain it, that is an advantage. To be successful in the role, it is important that you have good communication skills both written and oral. You quickly create an overview and easily gain insight into new areas.

You work in a structured and independent way, and you have respect for deadlines. You are good at building collaborative spaces and you comfortably engage in constructive and open dialogue with citizens, leaders, clinical and administrative colleagues. In addition, you are:

  • Good at understanding and conveying complex issues in an easily understandable way.
  • Service-minded and a natural partner for both colleagues and citizens.
  • Skilled at coordinating across several functions.
  • Structured, independent and responsible.
  • Open, curious, engaged and flexible regarding tasks and colleagues.
  • Naturally interested in improving processes and routines.

We also expect that you want to participate in and contribute to the department’s life, both professionally and socially. We take responsibility for each other and prioritize time for sparring and feedback. The tone is informal and filled with both professionalism and humor. You will meet engaged, skilled and fun colleagues in a hospital focused on the patient, professionalism, dialogue and collaboration.
