About the job

Staff member at Socialtilsyn Nord (maternity leave vacancy)

Are you structured, thorough and good at keeping track of many different tasks? Do you have an eye for detail while being able to maintain an overview? And are you motivated by being the one who makes cases, registrations and administrative processes hang together? Then you may be our new staff member!

Socialtilsyn Nord and Ældretilsyn Nord are seeking a staff member for the Stab. You will become part of a multidisciplinary and ambitious unit, where you will work closely with lawyers, economists, social work consultants and management.

As a staff member you will play an important role in supporting the Stab's overall task resolution. You will particularly assist the lawyers with case-support tasks, but you will also have a wide range of administrative and coordinating tasks across Socialtilsyn Nord and Ældretilsyn Nord. You will have a varied daily life, where tasks range from access to information and case preparation to filing, registration, data processing and contact with both internal and external partners.

The position is to be filled on 1 January 2027 . It is a full-time position, though with the possibility of reduced hours. The fixed-term contract is for one year, with the possibility of extension and potentially permanent employment.

Your responsibilities and tasks

As a staff member you will play a central role in ensuring that the Stab's cases and administrative processes are handled efficiently, systematically and with high quality.

You will among other things have responsibility for

  • Processing and administrative support for access to information cases
  • Preparation of notifications and information letters to relevant authorities
  • Manage the whistleblower hotline, including receiving and registering inquiries and ensuring forwarding to the appropriate professional
  • Manual registration of sanctions and appeal decisions
  • Processing of certain use-of-force reports
  • Drafting letters and decisions in collaboration with lawyers and other professionals
  • Ad hoc assistance to economists and social-work consultants in the Stab
  • Filing and other administrative tasks
  • Respond to inquiries to the main mailbox and main phone line
  • Collect and systematize data for further processing, e.g., information from the Danish Board of Patient Safety and the Danish Working Environment Authority
  • Support knowledge sharing across the organization, for example by communicating the Appeals Boards decisions
  • Assist with other case-supporting and coordinating tasks for the Stab
  • Handle ad hoc tasks by agreement with the immediate supervisor

You will have a broad range of contacts and collaborate with different professional groups. It is therefore important that you enjoy switching between different types of tasks and can adjust your effort to the current needs.

We are looking for a candidate who

  • Has a relevant education, e.g., a professional bachelor in public administration, office education with specialization in public administration or another relevant educational background
  • Alternatively has relevant experience with administrative work, case support or public administration
  • Has an interest in and preferably experience with case processing and administrative processes
  • Works structured and systematically and has a good eye for detail
  • Is good at keeping an overview of several tasks and deadlines at the same time
  • Has strong written skills and can express yourself clearly and precisely
  • Is proficient with IT and can quickly adapt to new systems and workflows
  • Understands the importance of correct filing, registration and documentation
  • Can work independently and take responsibility for own tasks
  • Also thrives as part of a multidisciplinary team and helps colleagues when needed
  • Is flexible and solution-focused and thrives with both fixed operational tasks and ad hoc tasks
  • Has a welcoming and professional approach to collaboration with both colleagues and external partners
  • Is a team player, engaged and contributes to a good working environment

It is advantageous if you have knowledge of working in a public organization, including e.g. access to information, case handling or authority work, but it is not a requirement.

We offer

  • A versatile position with broad contact surface and opportunity to gain insight into several professional areas
  • A central role in supporting Socialtilsyn Nord and Ældretilsyn Nord's task resolution
  • A workplace in development with skilled and engaged colleagues
  • A close multidisciplinary collaboration with lawyers, economists, social-work consultants and management
  • A workday with both fixed operational tasks and varied development and ad hoc tasks
  • Opportunity to take responsibility for your own tasks while being part of a strong professional community
  • Flexibility in planning the workday, including the possibility of home-based work
  • Possibility for part-time employment.
  • Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement
