About the job

Do you want to lead some of the most central planning and environmental professional tasks in Aarhus Municipality and set the direction for future urban and landscape development?

You will have the opportunity to lead two competent teams, which each day contribute to shaping the future of Aarhus through expertise, collaboration and societal responsibility.

About the department

The EIA and Landscape Department consists of 14 dedicated staff members spread across two strong professional environments. Common to the employees are a high professional level, a great degree of independence and a strong commitment to creating good solutions for citizens, businesses and the municipality.

The EIA team works with authority processing under the Environmental Impact Assessment Act, environmental impact assessments, decisions, political recommendations and dialogue with developers, citizens and authorities.

The Landscape team works with blue-green connections, recreational structures, climate adaptation and landscape-quality in plans and projects.

Your tasks as department head

  • Support employees' well-being, development and engagement
  • Strengthen collaboration across the organization and with external partners
