Would you like to work on developing digital solutions that support tomorrow's energy markets, and at the same time ensure an overview of a digital portfolio as well as a solid focus on cybersecurity and risk management in System Responsibility?

Energinet is a central player in the energy sector in Denmark. In Energinet System Responsibility we work to ensure a stable and sustainable energy supply for the benefit of society. In Energinet, digital solutions play a crucial role in the green transition and the development of an efficient and well-functioning electricity market. We are seeking a leader for the Department of Digital Market Products and Portfolio Management who can set direction, create results through others, and promote collaboration across the organization.

Set direction for a strategic digital product portfolio

As head of Digital Market Products and Portfolio Management you will develop and lead a department that supports some of Energinet's most important strategic goals. You must create coherence between business, digitalization and governance and ensure that System Responsibility's digital initiatives are prioritized and realized with a focus on value creation and impact.

You will have overall responsibility for the digital development portfolio in System Responsibility, including the processes and governance mechanisms that support prioritization, investment decisions and realization of benefits.

At the same time you will be the business-facing leader for the development and operation of digital market products that support Energinet's core delivery around effective electricity markets. A key part of the role is to achieve good results in close matrix collaboration between System Responsibility and Tech & Innovation.

The product organization is led across the two areas, where business goals, market development and regulatory requirements must go hand in hand with technology, architecture and delivery capability. You must therefore be able to create a common direction, build bridges between different disciplines and ensure that decisions are made with a focus on both business value, technical sustainability and long-term development of the product portfolio.

In addition, you will play a central role in developing cyber and risk management across System Responsibility, so the area is well prepared for both current and future requirements from authorities, legislation and partners.

Experienced leader who sets direction and creates followership

You are an experienced leader who thrives in the intersection of business, digitalization and regulation. You have experience leading highly specialized staff and translating strategic goals into concrete results through digital product development, portfolio management or major development initiatives.

You are skilled at building relationships and followership across organizational and professional boundaries and navigate, thanks to your analytical abilities, safely in an organization with many stakeholders and dependencies. At the same time you work in a structured manner and create clarity about priorities, goals and results.

You articulate messages clearly and create understanding for priorities, goals and results across the organization. In addition, you have a relevant advanced degree and a genuine interest in the link between digitization, market development and critical infrastructure for society.

Experience from the energy sector or other regulated areas, where business, technology, governance and regulatory requirements must be balanced and translated into robust solutions, is positively valued.

You will become part of an engaged and capable management team where you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership and professional skills.

You will become part of Energinet System Responsibility, whose core tasks are to integrate renewable energy, ensure equal access to networks, develop market design, monitor and balance the transmission system and safeguard Denmark's supply security.
