A well-run cattle farm with 230 Holstein cows near 9280 Storvorde seeks an engaged and experienced feed supervisor/farm manager for a permanent position with start around January 1, 2027 .

The position becomes available because our current farm manager, after some good years on the farm, has chosen to return to the family's business. Therefore we are now looking for a new key person who can become an important part of the team for many years to come.

The family-owned dairy farm has since 1995 developed into a modern dairy production, where professionalism, responsible operation and good cooperation are at the center.

About the position

As a feed supervisor/farm manager you will have great influence on the daily operations and will work independently with responsibilities within both reproduction, feeding and monitoring of the herd.

Your tasks will include, among other things

• Reproduction and insemination
• Checking activity meters and monitoring of estrus
• Feeding the cows
• Monitoring and optimization of 4 milking robots
• Follow-up on the animals' health and welfare
• Participation in the daily planning of work
• Gathering cows for the robots on weekends according to the shift

It is important that you have experience with milking. Experience with milking robots is an advantage but not a requirement, as you will be trained by your skilled colleagues.

Working hours

• 37 hours per week
• Work day starts at 07:00 and ends at around 13:00 (15:00)
• Work every 3rd weekend
