Albertslund Municipality seeks 4 pedagogical assistant students for the main apprenticeship starting January 2027

Are you starting your main training in the education to become a pedagogical assistant from January 27, 2027, and do you dream of working with children in daycare and SFO, and would you like to learn a lot about the pedagogical work, then this is where you should apply?

Your education will alternate between theoretical teaching at SOSU H in Brøndby and practical placements in the municipality's daycare and SFOs. You can read more generally about the education on the SOSU H website www.sosuh.dk .

We offer

• Guaranteed training place for the apprenticeship programs
• An educated training supervisor in daycare who follows you through the program
• Working hours 37 hours per week (scheduled by the training site) and you are paid according to FOA's collective agreement
• Training periods in one of Albertslund Municipality's daycare houses and SFOs, where you gain practical experience with the tasks a pedagogical assistant performs, and with what you learn in school

In your training you will have the opportunity to

• Learn methods and obtain professional tools to work with children's well-being and development
• Participate in the daily life of the daycare and SFO, where you help create a safe and fun childhood
• Receive support and guidance from your nearest colleagues and your training supervisor on how to create good activities for the children, and how to support their well-being and development

We expect from you that

• You have passed GF2 within the last 2 years, or are now finishing GF2
• You are ready for continued progression, engaged in both school and practice, and dare to take on new tasks
• You observe and understand the importance of your attendence to both school and training, and follow all applicable rules in both places
• You commit to, and take responsibility for your own learning both at school and during the training periods, and grow with the tasks
• You have a satisfactory criminal record and a clean child safeguarding certificate can be shown (obtained upon employment)
• You must also be able to document a valid residence permit if you are not a Danish citizen.

The application deadline is 19.10.26 at 8.00.

We will hold interviews at the end of October / start of November 26 and a final response to your application will follow thereafter.
