Are you an articulated truck driving instructor, and would you like to pass on your knowledge and experience? At AMU-Fyn we are seeking a colleague for the transport department who will help train skilled, responsible and safety-conscious drivers. A job with people and learning at the center

At AMU-Fyn we educate adults for the labour market. Our teaching is based on the reality in which the participants will use their competencies – whether they are entering a new industry or building on their existing experience.

As an articulated truck driving instructor you will be an important part of the task. You will not only convey rules, techniques and driving skills, but also create a learning environment where the learners feel safe to ask questions, practice and learn new things.

You meet people with different experiences and prerequisites. Therefore we are looking for someone who both has command of their subject and can meet each individual student with respect, patience and clear expectations. Your everyday life with us

You plan and conduct theoretical and practical teaching within the truck and bus sector. You connect professional knowledge with concrete situations from the transport industry and help the students translate what they learn into safe and professional conduct.

You follow up on the learners' learning, provide constructive feedback and, together with your colleagues, contribute to developing the teaching and teaching materials.

You become part of a team where we help each other and take joint responsibility for the quality of the teaching and for daily operations. This also includes contributing to the department's common tasks and events. We are looking for you who

• Has the driving instructor qualification and valid authorization for categories C, D and E.
• Has a desire to teach adults and can explain academic material in an understandable and practical way.
• Can build trust and adapt your teaching to learners with different prerequisites.
• Works independently and in a structured way – and at the same time values cooperation and knowledge sharing.

Experience with teaching is an advantage, but not a requirement. We also place emphasis on your willingness to develop as an educator, both professionally and pedagogically. We offer you

Working hours are primarily during the day. There may be varying working hours and tasks across departments. Salary and employment

Salary, pension and other terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement and central agreement for teachers at labour market education and training (AMU) within the state sector.

The position is 37 hours per week with commencement as soon as possible after agreement.

Your primary workplace is in Odense, but teaching at our driving skills facility in Fredericia may occur. Would you like to know more?
