Are you trained as a social- and health care assistant, and would you like to put your health-professional knowledge to work in a primarily pedagogical workplace? Do you want to work closely with other SSAs and ensure high professional quality for our citizens? Then it's you we're seeking!

Bengerds Huse is a residential facility under Ringsted Municipality for 38 adult citizens with significantly reduced functioning, who need a lot of support and guidance in everyday life. The citizens are aged 21 to 75, and the majority are in day services on weekdays.

About the position and our professional community

At Bengerds Huse we want to actively use our professional differences. We are predominantly a pedagogical workplace, but we have expanded with strong health professional knowledge. We have social- and health care assistants in all our 6 teams, so we continuously raise the professionalism and support for the citizens. In this position you will join as the 2nd SSA in one of the teams.

As an SSA you will be attached to a fixed team where your daily work will be among 6 citizens. The tasks are wide-ranging and include holistic care, health-care interventions and pedagogical activities. You will not be on your own; you will be part of a close and binding collaboration with the other social- and health care assistants across the house and the site's quality nurse.

Are professionally capable and able to work both independently and in teams. Can work structurally with the citizens' overall conditions according to the FSIII method . Are skilled at conveying your health professional knowledge to your non-healthcare colleagues. Have solid knowledge about transfer, medication dosing, hygiene as well as diet and exercise . Are flexible, reliable, mentally robust and good at thinking in new possibilities. Have IT skills at user level – preferably with experience in FMK and Nexus . We offer:

The position is 30-32 hours/week .

You will work in rotating hours (primarily day shifts) in the time frame 07:00 - 22:00. You work every other weekend in even weeks as well as on holidays.

Appointment and remuneration are made according to the applicable collective agreement. The position is to be filled as soon as possible. In connection with the employment, a child and/or criminal record check may be requested.
