You will join a larger construction company with about 50 colleagues across civil works, paving, sewers, machinery and green tasks. The work is mainly on Zealand, and in this role Faxe and the surrounding area are your starting point. The day-to-day can alternate between your own tasks, partner work and crew work, depending on what the site requires. People stay here, so you land in a team that knows each other.

The role suits you if you want responsibility without having to stand with everything yourself. There is room for dialogue about the solution to the task, and the employees are involved when the sequence needs to make sense. The social aspect also matters, so it isn’t just about showing up, solving the task and going home.

Your everyday

You start by clarifying the order of the day’s tasks so that machines, people and the site work together. When there is earthmoving or winter service on the program, it’s about getting things finished properly and saying if something doesn’t add up.

You will, among other things, work with

• Carry out earthworks and site preparation on construction tasks
• Operate machines on the site when the task requires it
• Assist with winter service in the season
• Establish green areas and new developments
• Work with paving and edge delineation

There is a culture where you talk about the solution before doing what was last done. If a task requires a different sequence, you say so, so the team can get it right.

You don’t need to know everything. But you must be able to work independently and take responsibility for your commitments.

We imagine that you

• Have a driving license
• Have experience as a landscape gardener or with contractor work
• Can work independently and also join a crew
• Show up reliably and say when something isn’t right
• Speak properly with customers and colleagues

It’s an advantage if you have some experience with machines, earthworks or winter service. But the most important is that you can take responsibility and make the day run smoothly.
