Applications Engineer

To strengthen our development department we are seeking an experienced applications engineer

Would you like to have 1,000 colleagues in a private equity-owned international company, and together with them continue the growth journey for Dantherm Group? We live by creating energy-efficient climate control solutions and are currently looking for an experienced applications engineer for our office in Skive.

Our development activities take place in a challenging, internationally oriented environment, where in dedicated teams we develop new solutions and concepts for climate control and air handling.

As an applications engineer you will be responsible for the technical solution of large and small projects across the organization. You focus on the development of new high-end products/solutions and participate in the preparation of design proposals for new projects. You ensure ongoing maintenance of our existing product program and focus on good collaboration with customers and business partners. In addition you provide technical support to the sales department and customers.

You have an education such as a marine engineer or engineer at bachelor’s or master’s level. You have experience in development and design and preferably a technically relevant background. Knowledge of thermodynamics and electrical engineering is an advantage but not required. You are self-driven and make things happen through dialogue with your colleagues and communicate well at all organizational levels. You are an affable person with good collaboration skills, who works in a structured way and completes tasks on time.

Your primary tasks

• Project participation and close collaboration in the development team
• Sizing of refrigeration systems and heating systems
• Sizing of electrical systems
• Selection of components
• Daily collaboration with our prototype workshop
• Technical support to sales, service and production

Your personal and professional qualifications

• Thermodynamics and design know-how
• Electrical engineering knowledge/experience
• Extensive experience with Excel, proficient with

Office suite in general

• Danish and English in writing and speech at a negotiation level
