About the job

Are you interested in economics and IT development? Do you also have good communication skills, and do you want to contribute to strengthening the Tax Administration's IT development? So you may be our new colleague!

The Tax Administration is in the midst of a comprehensive IT transformation, which requires central coordination and governance of IT solutions that ultimately should support citizens and businesses in paying their taxes and duties in a good and smooth way.

Therefore, we are seeking technically strong candidates who are solution-oriented and motivated by both supporting and following development in a societally critical area. With us you can look forward to a dynamic daily life, where you will get to test your skills and find solutions to many different challenges. Your professional competencies and communication abilities will be challenged daily in the preparation of decision material for the Tax Administration's top leadership.

You will, among other things, work with financial management and develop your Excel skills. Not least you will become part of a social office with emphasis on development, trust and collaboration.

Financial management and support of IT projects

In the Portfolio Management office we have among other things responsibility to coordinate and facilitate the Tax Administration's IT development through portfolio management, project support and financial follow-up. The office has an ongoing task to support the Tax Administration's needs and development wishes, so we, in cooperation with our sister agency – the Agency for Development and Simplification – ensure effective IT solutions.

As part of Portfolio Management you will help to support the Tax Administration's IT development through strategic prioritization of the Tax Administration's IT development needs. You will, among other things, work with financial gains and financial follow-up of the Tax Administration's IT portfolio. You will have the opportunity to put your financial and communication skills to use when complex material must be conveyed across disciplines and management levels.

Financial understanding and good communication skills

We are looking for a candidate who has an interest in financial management and professional communication. The ideal candidate has a relevant master's degree for example in business economics, economics, IT or similar. You may be a recent graduate or have a couple of years of experience from previous jobs and will be employed in the position as an associate/official.

We emphasize that you

  • have pivot tables, XLOOKUP and SUMIF formulas as part of your vocabulary
  • can connect financial key figures with progress in the overall IT development portfolio
  • are proactive and can work independently
  • can communicate complex issues in precise and easy-to-understand language to senior management
  • are curious about establishing strong collaborative relationships and actively seek knowledge
  • can navigate professionally and effectively in decision-making processes that characterize a large, politically governed organization.

Who are we?

As our new colleague you will be part of an office with 11 colleagues, where there is room to breathe and an informal tone. We are an office with a wide range of educational backgrounds, and we work together across teams in a dynamic daily life.

We are a workplace focused on ensuring flexibility in working life – both with regard to place of work and working hours – and we find together the balances that suit the individual’s life situation. We also place high value on social community, whether it is a shared breakfast or social events, and therefore we also prioritize in-person presence at the office. You will therefore never arrive to an empty office.

If you can see yourself being part of a competent, welcoming and present team that values job satisfaction and work-life balance, please send us your application.
