We are looking for a medical secretary/health administrative coordinator for a permanent full-time position in the Cardiology Clinic in Viborg with start January 1, 2027 or by agreement.

Who are we?

You will become part of a secretary team of 23 dedicated colleagues spread across 3 site locations in Viborg, Silkeborg and Skive. Your primary workplace will be in Viborg, where you become an important part of everyday life in the clinic. We work closely across the sites because we are one unit. There is room here for both professional deepening, sparring, everyday humor and a helping hand when it is busy. We work closely together, both mono- and interprofessionally, because we know that a good patient journey is created together.

What will you do?

Your workday can include, among other things

• Patient contact at the window and on the phone
• Documentation and writing in connection with patients' contacts
• Inviting patients to examinations and treatments
• Requesting tests and investigations and follow-up on results
• Ensuring correct registration and working with databases
• Participation in one of our professional teams within the subspecialties of the specialty
• In time there is an opportunity to become a key person within a specific area of expertise

When do we work?

Your normal working hours are on weekdays between 07:30 and 15:00.

Once you are well settled in the job, you will participate in a rotating on-call schedule, where on average one weekday every four weeks you work until 18:00. In addition, you have a weekend/holiday shift about 5 times a year. Shifts can be performed from home, and you will of course be provided with the necessary IT equipment.

Who are you?

You are educated as a medical secretary or health administrative coordinator (mandatory requirement), and you have experience with EPJ. If you have experience with cardiology, that is an advantage, but the most important thing for us is that you are eager to learn and become part of the team.

Little about us

Cardiology consists of a 29-bed inpatient ward and a Day Clinic in Viborg as well as cardiology clinics in Silkeborg, Viborg and Skive.

We are one of the country’s largest cardiac departments outside the university hospitals, and our cardiology clinics have around 42,000 patient consultations annually.

At the same time we have a large research activity in the Cardiac Research Unit with both medicinal research and self-initiated projects.
