We are looking for a medical secretary/health administrative coordinator for a permanent full-time position at the Cardiology Clinic in Viborg with start date 1 January 2027 or by agreement.

With us you will have a daily routine with lots of patient contact, professional challenges, responsibility and good colleagues who help each other when the pace picks up.

Who are we?

You will become part of a secretary team of 23 engaged colleagues spread across 3 sites in Viborg, Silkeborg and Skive. Your primary workplace will be in Viborg, where you become an important part of everyday life in the clinic. We work closely across sites since we are one unit. Here there is room for both professional deepening, sparring, everyday laughter and a helping hand when it’s busy. We work closely together, both mono- and interdisciplinary, because we know that a good patient journey is created together.

What will you do?

Your workday can include, among other things

• Patient contact at the reception and on the phone
• Documentation and writing in connection with patients’ contacts
• Invitations to examinations and treatments
• Requesting tests and investigations and follow-up on results
• Ensuring correct registration and working with databases
• Participation in one of our professional teams within the subspecialties of the specialty
• In time there is an opportunity to become a key person within a specific area

We continuously follow up and adjust the training so you become confident with the tasks.

When do we work?

Your normal working hours are on weekdays between 07:30 and 15:00.

Once you are well settled in the job, you will enter a duty rotation in which you on average every fourth week work until 18:00 on one weekday. In addition you have a weekend/holiday on-call shift about 5 times a year. Shifts can be done from home, and you will of course be provided with the necessary IT equipment.

Who are you?

You are a trained medical secretary or health administrative coordinator (non-negotiable requirement), and you have experience with EPJ. If you have experience with cardiology, that is an advantage, but the most important for us is that you are eager to learn and become part of the team.

A bit about us

Heart diseases consist of a 29-bed ward and a Day Clinic in Viborg as well as cardiology clinics in Silkeborg, Viborg and Skive.

We are one of the country’s largest heart departments outside university hospitals, and our cardiology clinics handle about 42,000 patient consultations annually.

At the same time we have a strong research activity in the Cardiology Research Unit with both medical research and self-initiated projects.
