Trane Skole & Børneby seeks an engaged and present school pedagogue as soon as possible.

Welcome to Horne Børneby

Horne Børneby is part of Trane Skole & Børneby and is located in scenic surroundings with strong local communities. We are a small and manageable school with combined classes from kindergarten to 6th grade, where community, outdoor education and cross-disciplinary collaboration are the guiding elements.

Every week we have a fixed outdoor school day, where children’s curiosity and learning move from the classroom out into nature. This gives us ample opportunity to strengthen both relationships, motor skills and learning across senses and subjects.

We have about 80 pupils at the school. In our after-school program (SFO) there are about 45 wonderful children and a group of good-humored, sometimes crazy, and active adults with strong collaboration.

We have independent SFO facilities and very good outdoor areas.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who

• Are passionate about working in the after-school program and in the early years.
• See collaboration with colleagues and parents as a natural and important part of your work.
• Want to work in an interdisciplinary team and take an active part in the community.
• Master both structure and spontaneity – and can bring calm, play and learning into the mix.
• Are educated as a pedagogue and preferably have experience as a school pedagogue and with SFO (not a requirement).

About Trane Skole & Børneby

We are an organization with five departments – distributed across Tistrup, Horne and Thorstrup – that works in a holistic way with the lives and learning of children and young people from 0-18 years. We work strategically on children's development in both academic and social communities and focus on transitions, parent collaboration and locally anchored solutions. This also applies in Horne, where parents are an active and important part of the children’s village daily life.

Employment terms

• The position is 30-37 hours, depending on agreement. The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
• Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
• Applications interviews will be held on an ongoing basis from week 43.
