Are you our new yoga instructor at UngK?

Do you want to create space for calm, movement and community? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for!

Every Monday morning we roll out the yoga mats at UngK in Aarhus and invite free yoga with room for immersion, movement and presence. Now we are looking for a new yoga instructor who wants to lead the teaching and help create good experiences for our participants.

In UngK, yoga is for everyone – flexible or not. There is room to feel, have fun and participate at the level you come with. We want to create a safe and informal space where everyone can join, exactly as they are.

A typical yoga class includes breathing exercises, physical yoga poses, stretching and strengthening exercises – and we always end with a calm relaxation.

Who are you?

We imagine that you

• have experience teaching yoga and want to share your knowledge and enthusiasm
• are able to create a safe, relaxed and inclusive space
• can adapt the teaching to a group with different experiences and levels
• want to become part of UngK and contribute to the community in the house.

Yoga, presence and community in UngK

Teaching takes place every Monday morning at UngK in Aarhus, and the position is 2 hours per week. In addition to the yoga teaching, you participate in staff meetings and volunteer meetings, where we jointly develop the house and the community.

UngK is part of the Folk Church and provides the framework for activities and events for young people between 18 and 30 who have not yet started a family. We place great emphasis on presence, openness and inclusive communities, where there is room for diversity.

Although we are part of the Folk Church, your faith or religious belief is entirely your own. You are warmly welcome, whether you have a faith or not.

Employment terms

You will be employed at UngK, Nørre Alle 23K, 8000 Aarhus C

The employment will be covered by the Fællesoverenskomsten between the Ministry of Finance and CO10 and the organizational agreement between the Ministry of Church Affairs and CO10 for church officials with core tasks such as parish clerk, church and culture worker or church musician and the associated protocol for church and culture workers.

The position is not subject to the competence requirement and is paid in salary group 1. The annual salary is agreed within the range 350,435 – 442,215 DKK. In addition there is an annual OK allowance of 3,654.10 DKK.

All salary amounts are stated in current kroner corresponding to a full-time position.
