About the job

We are seeking a colleague who is curious about what creates value, meaning and direction in an individual's life, and who together with the citizen wishes to create the best possible conditions for wellbeing, development and participation.

For us the decisive question is not: "What is wrong with you?" but rather: "Who are you, what is important to you, and how can we together support the life you want to live?"

Therefore we are seeking a professional who sees relationships, participation, mastery and development as central paths to increased quality of life, and who is motivated to support citizens' opportunities to take an active part in their own lives, strengthen their agency and engage in meaningful communities.

With us, recovery, rehabilitation and citizen involvement are fundamental guiding principles, because we know that hope, equal relationships and the experience of belonging create fertile ground for development. Based on this understanding we work every day to create frameworks where citizens experience being met with respect, influence and belief in their own possibilities.

About the position

As an employee at Sønderparken you will be part of a multidisciplinary environment where professional differences reinforce one another and contribute with new perspectives to the collective task solution.

We believe that strong interventions are created in the meeting between different professional disciplines. Therefore it is expected that you actively bring your monodisciplinary knowledge and your professional perspectives into play and contribute with reflections and actions that qualify the overall effort around the citizen.

As a professional you will focus on identifying the citizen's resources, challenges and development opportunities and translate this knowledge into concrete rehabilitative actions in everyday life. You have an eye for the importance of relationships, structure, activity, community and predictability as elements that can support wellbeing, mastery and development.

The work includes, among other things

  • relationship work and support for everyday mastery
  • work with citizens' goals, sub-goals and development processes
  • planning and execution of activities and communities
  • d documentation and professional assessments
  • multidisciplinary collaboration around citizens' development and wellbeing
  • involvement of the citizen's wishes, hopes and resources in the daily effort

You will become part of a mini-team around a group of citizens and together with your colleagues take responsibility for supporting the work with citizens' goals, sub-goals and development processes in daily life.

We are looking for you who

  • is a trained nurse
  • is curious and has the courage to ask questions
  • sees people's resources and possibilities as a basis for development
  • has an eye for the connection between well-being, participation, identity and mastery
  • can work rehabilitatively and recovery-oriented
  • sees structure, relationships and meaningful activities as important tools in the work with development
  • dare to be honest about your uncertainties and see mistakes as opportunities for learning
  • communicates clearly and has an eye for the importance of strong relationships
  • meets people with respect, presence and humility
  • wants to join a professional community where we reflect, challenge and develop together

With us you get

  • a strong professional and collegial community
  • a thorough introduction and good opportunities to develop yourself in the role
  • supervision as well as room for professional reflection and sparring
  • opportunity to actively bring your professional expertise into play in a recovery-oriented social-psychiatric practice
  • a workplace characterized by engagement, job satisfaction and professional pride
  • opportunity to make a meaningful difference for people every single day

About Sønderparken

Sønderparken is located in Hornsyld and offers home and support to 35 citizens who live in their own apartments spread across three departments.
