About the job

Do you have control of web accessibility, experience with a larger web environment and would you like to take a central role in the development of Frederikssund Municipality's digital solutions?

Then you may be our new Webmaster.

We are looking for a skilled and committed Webmaster who can take responsibility for the municipality's overall web presence. You will become the professional key person in the field and have great freedom to plan the work and set the direction for the further development of the municipality's web universe

About the job

As Webmaster you will be responsible for the daily operation and development of the municipality's websites, intranet and extranet, which are based on Composite C1 CMS. You will also be the central project manager when the website and intranet must be upgraded in line with digital development and the municipality's ambitions.

The tasks span broadly. One day you work on structure and user experience on the website, the next you advise a colleague about web accessibility or cookies, and the third you participate in a project to acquire a new digital system. In collaboration with the municipality's communications staff you will work with design and content, and there is also the possibility to assist with smaller graphic tasks.

You will also be the coordinator for the municipality's network of web editors. Here you will support the editors, share knowledge and help ensure quality and coherence across the organization.

As the municipality's WAS coordinator you will have a special role in the work with web accessibility. You must follow developments in the area, advise the organization and contribute to our digital solutions meeting applicable requirements. Therefore you will also be involved in relevant system procurements and projects.

Your main tasks

  • operation, administration and maintenance of the municipality's web platforms
  • project management and participation in cross-functional projects
  • user experience, structure and quality on the web
  • coordination and development of the municipality's editor network
  • web accessibility and the role as WAS coordinator
  • advice on cookies and applicable rules
  • quality assurance of digital solutions and system procurements

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a person who has solid web expertise and thrives on taking responsibility for web tasks both in terms of operations and development. You should be able to move between project management, technology, communication and organization and be good at turning your expertise into solutions that work in practice. You do not need to know all the technical details yourself, as you will also have close collaboration with a web supplier and consultants in the field.

We imagine that you have experience and competencies in several of the following areas

  • CMS and administration of larger web solutions
  • Project management of IT projects or organizational projects
  • Digital communication
  • Collaboration across an organization
  • WCAG and web accessibility
  • cookies, consent and related legislation as well as web security
  • Relevant education

It is not essential that you can do it all from day one. Instead we expect you to be curious, take initiative and actively seek the knowledge you need.

You should be able to work independently, but the job also requires that you are just as good at collaborating. The web area has many interfaces, and you will therefore work with colleagues from both communications and the municipality's other areas as well as with external suppliers.

And you may be the type who smiles when a colleague asks: “Can't we just ...?”

Who are we?

You will become part of IT and City Archive, where we solve a wide range of tasks essential to the municipality's daily operations and digital development.

With us there is room to take responsibility and put your own mark on the tasks. We are busy, and days are not always predictable, but we help each other and prioritize a good working environment.

We have an informal tone, good humor and room for a good laugh – even when there is a lot to do.

Does this sound like something for you?

Then send us your application no later than Sunday 18 October 2026. We will hold interviews on Wednesday 21 October and Thursday 22 October. The position is filled by 1 December 2026.

We look forward to hearing from you and perhaps welcoming you to a strong department where no day is the same.

Salary and terms of employment

The appointment is made under the relevant collective agreement. The position is a full-time 37-hour week including paid lunch break.

Administrative Center Slangerup, Kongensgade 18, 3550 Slangerup.
