We are seeking a responsible and practically minded employee for a full-time daytime position at a small manufacturing company in Herning.

The company manufactures, among other things, tabletops and staircases, and here proud craft traditions and high quality are an important part of everyday life.

We are looking for you who enjoy getting hands-on, keeping an overview and taking the lead when needed. You do not have to be a manager, but you should be willing to take responsibility for your tasks and help ensure that everyday operations run smoothly.

Your tasks

You will have a varied day, where your primary duties will be

• Packing and preparing goods for shipment
• Shipping and handling of accompanying documents
• Forklift driving
• Operating a polishing machine
• Reading drawings, orders and work instructions

There can also be other practical tasks in production, so it is important that you thrive with a varied workday and are ready to help where there is a need.

Who are you?

We imagine that you are an adult and mature person who has a natural sense of responsibility and can work independently. You are willing to take initiative, follow your tasks through to completion and have an eye for both quality and order.

Additionally we would like you to

• Have experience from the wood industry and/or with warehousing and logistics
• Have a forklift certificate and experience with forklift driving
• Be practically minded and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
• Be stable, quality-conscious and good at collaborating
• Can speak, read and understand Danish – this is a requirement, as you must be able to read drawings, orders, shipment papers and important work instructions in Danish

What can you expect?

You will become part of a small company with around 15 dedicated colleagues, who are ready to welcome you and train you in the tasks.

There is a short path from idea to action here, and you will have the opportunity to become an important part of the daily operations. It is a workplace where people help each other, take responsibility and work together to deliver a good result.

You will initially be employed through Medarbejderne ApS in a probationary period. For the right employee there are good opportunities for permanent employment with the company in the future.
