About the job

Are you looking for a daytime job today? And would you like to work with communication and sales? Then you may be our new fundraising talent and the spokesperson that children need!

Our ambitious team of fundraisers is a crucial factor in our work to promote children's rights, safety, development and well-being. For our skilled team of fundraisers, we are currently seeking a colleague who can inspire Danes to support UNICEF with monthly contributions. All it takes is that you dare to pick up the phone and ask another person for help.

As a fundraiser you will be trained in argumentation techniques and delivery of messages to specific target groups — while you contribute to making a decisive difference for children in vulnerable positions.

In the role you will gain experience with telemarketing, sales and message delivery, and you will gain insight into an exciting and international organization. We provide coaching, good camaraderie and the necessary knowledge about our work, so you have the tools to tailor your communication and recruit regular supporters for UNICEF.

About you

You don't need experience with fundraising, sales or telemarketing. The most important thing is that you have go-getter attitude and can say yes to the following.

  • You are good at inspiring others and engaging them in a purpose you yourself believe in.
  • You are results-oriented and motivated by concrete goals.
  • You speak and understand Danish at a high level.

What can you expect?

When you start as a fundraiser, you start with our basic training. Here you will be equipped through training and coaching to perform the job so you have the best possible conditions to succeed and kickstart your career as a fundraiser.

We offer

A part-time position in our day shift and a workplace where there is room to grow, good colleagues and a strong sense of community. In addition we offer:

  • A civil servant employment with a competitive starting salary of 145 DKK per hour .
  • Free fruit and coffee scheme.
  • Friday bar and other social events, including summer party and Christmas lunch.
  • Professional and current presentations relating to UNICEF's work.

Workplace and hours

You will be based in Copenhagen's trendy Nordvest district at Rentemestervej 62, where you will have your daily presence in our nice call center.

Your working hours will generally be Tuesday – Friday from 09:00 – 16:45, and you are guaranteed a minimum of 28 hours per week. There will be a monthly workshop day on a Monday, and all Fridays end at 16:00.

If your performance and development are stable, it is possible to negotiate a higher hourly wage and more hours
