Job advertisement: 📞 Become a phoner with us - Viva seeks two (student) assistants for fundraising

Do you want to use your voice to help vulnerable children?

At Viva we fight so that children get the childhood they deserve. Together with local volunteers, churches and communities in Zimbabwe, Honduras and the Philippines we create safe spaces for children growing up in poverty and vulnerability. The children receive education, health and protection, and they get adults who stay by their side. That work is only possible because people in Denmark choose to support it.

Now we are seeking two phoners who will help strengthen and expand the community of donors behind Viva.

About the job

As a phoner you call current and potential regular donors. You tell them about Viva's work and what their support means, and you invite them to give regularly or to give more. You also call to say thank you and to resume contact with previous donors. You thus become one of the most important voices between the children and the people who carry the work.

You will be part of a small, dedicated team, and you will receive training, scripts and sparring, so you are well prepared from the first call.

We are looking for you who

• are outgoing and enjoy talking to new people
• can tell warmly and honestly about something you personally believe in
• want to get to know Viva's work well, or already know it
• want to be part of the team that fights for children to have a safe childhood

You must be able to stand by Viva's Christian value base and help tell about neighbor love and hope. We encourage both students and others to apply for the position.

Practical

• Hours: 10 hours per month on average
• Start: November 1
• Working hours: Flexible. You arrange the hours yourself in collaboration with us and the other phoners
• Workplace: Viva's office in Aarhus and remote work.
• Salary: As a student assistant according to Viva's salary policy
