Vorup Nursing Home is home to 59 residents and a workplace for 41 permanent staff as well as our regular substitutes. We are a workplace with a strong value base, where respect, decency and community form the foundation of our work.

An important role in close leadership collaboration

As an assistant manager, you will be the center manager's closest sparring partner and a central part of the daily management of the nursing home. Together we must ensure that residents experience security, care and high quality, and that employees meet clear leadership, support and professional direction.

We are looking for a leader who can combine structure and overview with presence, recognition and decisiveness. You must be able to create follower-ship around shared goals while also having a view for the individual person.

Your key tasks

You will among other things be responsible for

• Ensuring daily operations in close collaboration with the center manager
• Being visible and accessible among staff and residents
• Actively contributing to strong collaboration with residents' relatives
• Supporting and further developing a healthy and attractive work environment
• Ensuring high professional quality and continuity in task execution
• Being responsible for the evening and night shift area
• Participating in follow-up on quality, well-being and professional initiatives
• Holding performance and well-being conversations and other meetings in accordance with our annual cycle
• Contributing to ensuring a healthy economy and responsible use of resources
• Having managerial responsibility for duty scheduling and ensuring planning is based on residents' needs and the resources required
• Following up on staffing and priorities in collaboration with the duty planner
• Participating in relevant shift overlaps, including arriving for evening shifts and meeting the night shifts in the morning to ensure present leadership and continuity across the 24 hours
