Then you may be our new assistant nursing home manager.

At Sømarken Nursing Home we are looking for an assistant nursing home manager who wishes to take an active part in the management of a nursing home where the core tasks, professionalism and collaboration are at the center.

You will become part of the local management team and will have a central role in daily operations, professional development and the strategic work with quality. Together with the nursing home manager you will contribute to creating the best framework for residents’ everyday life and the staff’s working environment.

About the position

As assistant nursing home manager you will have a versatile day-to-day where you work closely with operations and contribute to the development of the nursing home.

Your primary tasks will be to

• Prepare and coordinate duty rosters and ensure appropriate use of resources.
• Contribute to daily personnel leadership and act as a sparring partner for employees.
• Support high professional quality in care and nursing.
• Participate in quality work, including follow-up on documentation, supervision, patient safety and quality goals.
• Contribute to the implementation of new initiatives, workflows and development projects.
• Contribute to recruitment, onboarding and retention of employees.
• Support good collaboration with residents, relatives and partners.
• Contribute to a culture characterized by learning, well-being and continuous development.

About you

We imagine that you

• Have a health-related professional education with authorization.
• Have experience with or an interest in leadership within the elderly care sector.
• Have a diploma in management or an interest in starting the program.
• Have strong organizational skills and an interest in planning and coordinating.
• Can work in KMD Opus.
• Have knowledge of quality work, documentation and development processes.
• Can create structure and maintain an overview in a changing daily life.
• Are a visible and present leader who builds trust and followership.
• See value in interdisciplinary collaboration and joint solutions.

Salary and employment terms

The position is full-time - 37 hours per week

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the current collective agreement
