Job Description

We are looking for a professionally skilled, curious and development-oriented therapist who wants to actively bring their therapeutic expertise into play as part of the district's leadership team in Home and Nursing Care Løgstør.

The position is full-time with start date 1 January 2027.

Why are we looking for you in particular?

Holistic care is in focus in Vesthimmerland Municipality and with the new elderly reform it becomes even more important to strengthen professional leadership very close to the citizens.

Therefore we are seeking an assistant leader with solid therapeutic ballast who can help raise the quality in citizen pathways and ensure strong cross-disciplinary collaboration.

You should want leadership tasks – both relational and organizational. You do not need to be a finished leader, but you must have the motivation, courage and ambition to grow in the role and help set the direction together with us through professional leadership.

Your leadership role

As an assistant leader you will be part of a closely collaborating leadership team consisting of the district manager and another assistant leader. Together we lead Home and Nursing Care District Løgstør – and we do it with a focus on professionalism, development and integrity.

You should among other things

• Exert professional leadership so that your therapeutic professional expertise has a clear place and becomes an integrated part of holistic care and the interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Contribute to realising the intentions of the elderly reform, where holistic care, rehabilitation and the citizen's resources are in the centre.
• Create an attractive working environment with high well-being, professional quality and psychological safety.
• Support professional development and quality in citizen pathways.
• Contribute to a common direction and core task understanding across professional groups.

Your managerial tasks

You will have responsibility for both professional and personnel-related tasks – and you are not alone, as the tasks are shared in the leadership team.

• Onboarding and introduction of new employees.
• Conduct sickness absence meetings in collaboration with the management team.
• Conduct well-being conversations and support competence development and job satisfaction.
• Support good cooperation between employees, citizens and networks.
• Plan, implement and anchor development and improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to a culture of professional sparring, openness and respect.
• Participate in financial management and budget follow-up.

About you

We are primarily looking for a professionally strong therapist who wants leadership and is willing to develop in the role.

You

• Are educated as an occupational therapist or physiotherapist with authorization.
• Have solid experience with rehabilitation, holistic care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Want to bring your professionalism into play as a leader – and to develop yourself in the leadership task.
• Communicate clearly, appreciatively and respectfully.
• Are structured, trust-building and thrive in a changing everyday life.
• Have a natural interest in supporting others to succeed.
