Assistive device assessor sought for the Health Professional Authority in Egedal Municipality

Then you may be the person we are looking for for a permanent position in the Health-Related Authority, with a focus on assistive devices, and based at Egedal Town Hall close to Egedal Station.

About us

The Health-Related Authority consists of several teams, including the Assistive Devices Team, which handles among other things case processing of applications for assistive devices, consumer goods, disability cars, vision and hearing aids and home modifications.

We, like other municipalities, are facing major changes in the health and care sector, which requires ongoing development of our workflows. You will experience that the Health-Related Authority has a central role in interdisciplinary and cross‑organisational collaboration around citizens.

The Assistive Devices Team follows the four geographic areas of home care. We work closely with the other colleagues in the Health-Related Authority, our colleagues in Egedal Municipality in general, as well as our external partners.

We would like to hear from you if you

• are a trained occupational therapist or with a similarly relevant background — preferably with experience from authority work
• thrive in a workday that can be both busy and unpredictable
• work based on professionalism, legislation and the politically adopted service level
• are keen on development and have good communication skills, both written and oral
• can conduct holistic needs assessments with the citizen and the citizen’s relatives as active participants and with the citizen’s wishes at the centre
• have the ability and desire to collaborate cross‑disciplinarily between departments and sectors and civil society
• can work independently and contribute positively to the team’s wellbeing
• have a driving licence

In addition, it is advantageous if you have knowledge of the care system Cura — but it is not a requirement.

Further information

The position is 37 hours per week.

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and in accordance with the Ny Løn principles.
