Occupational therapist for interdisciplinary rehabilitation – close to the citizen and daily life

Do you want to use your occupational therapy professional skills to make a concrete difference for the citizens and help strengthen rehabilitation in home care?

You will have an independent role with great influence on your own workday , close collaboration and a sense of teamwork, and an opportunity to develop the rehabilitation effort together with a professionally engaged community of therapists.

Close to the citizen – and close to everyday life

As an occupational therapist in home care you become an important part of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation effort. You come close to the citizen's everyday life and have the opportunity to translate your professional skills into solutions that make sense for the individual.

You work closely with the social and healthcare staff, who are your nearest partner in the daily rehabilitation effort. In addition, you collaborate with nurses and other professional groups and you become an important resource person in the work to strengthen the rehabilitative approach in daily life.

Home care is organized in four districts, which are gathered under one roof. You will have a central role in your district and become the occupational therapist that colleagues turn to when rehabilitation needs to be integrated into the citizen's daily life.

A strong professional community

You will have the opportunity to join a therapy professional network with therapists from the municipality's health center. The home care therapists are invited to both mono- and interdisciplinary therapy meetings, where there is an opportunity for knowledge sharing and joint discussions of relevant topics.

A daily life with freedom, professionalism and variation

Your workday is diverse. You have both independent citizen cases and tasks with colleagues , participate in citizen meetings and guide the home care staff on rehabilitation in practice.

You also take on an important role in guidance and introduction to assistive devices and you continually collaborate with other actors in the social and elderly sector.

You plan a large part of your own workday and you simultaneously have a professional community around you, where there is room for sparring, knowledge sharing and new ideas.

• Are educated as an occupational therapist and have a category B driving license
• Can work independently and at the same time thrive in close multidisciplinary collaboration
• Take responsibility, create overview and can prioritize your tasks
• Thrive with many collaboration surfaces and a varied daily life
• Want to guide and support colleagues in their rehabilitative practice
• Are curious about how your professional skills can create value in the citizen's daily life

It is an advantage if you have experience with rehabilitation, geriatrics and/or assistive devices.

You do not need to be able to do everything in advance. The most important is that you want to put your professional skills into play, take responsibility and help develop rehabilitation together with us.

Practical information

• The job is a permanent position at 37 hours per week
• Starting 1 January 2027 and start date 4 January 2027
• Salary according to the applicable agreement.
• In connection with employment we obtain a criminal record and references from previous employment
