Camillehusene is seeking awake night shift workers for a child, for a period of 6 months with the possibility of extension.

You create structure and predictability and strengthen the child’s participation and independence, and you help create a loving home with a high level of professionalism, based on our vision for Camillehusene.

What does everyday life look like in general?

Camillehusene is a 24-hour facility for 20 children and young people. We work in three different houses, and we have pedagogue, social- and health-care assistants, child care assistants and a nurse employed. The houses share activities and experiences across, as well as common guidelines, which provides good synergy and knowledge across. The children and young people all have multiple disabilities, some have diagnoses within the autism spectrum and some have epilepsy.

They all have extensive needs for social- and pedagogical support to ensure well-being, development and a good childhood and youth life. All children and young people attend external special schools or day care.

Some of our children and young people use wheelchairs and need lifting, some have a feeding tube (sonde) and others use aids such as jogger, gait trainer, etc.

You will receive medication training and a thorough introduction from our nurse, just as Camillehusene’s other staff provide you with an extensive introduction program to the child and the tasks involved in the night shift.

Leadership consists of three professional leaders, a deputy for the principal, and a principal. The leadership prioritizes taking time for the staff and has a trust-based approach to the staff and the decisions they make.

Working hours

Camillehusene is a 24-hour institution, therefore your working hours will be spread over all seven days of the week, with weekend work every other weekend. The working hours are from 22:00 to 08:00, distributed as 7 days on and 7 days off.

The weekly hours will be between 33-35 hours.
