About the job

We are seeking a professionally strong and engaged employee who is passionate about supporting and guiding families with children with special needs.

Do you have a pedagogical background and experience translating professional recommendations into concrete and useful tools in everyday life?

Are you good at communicating your knowledge in an easy-to-understand way and creating a safe and trusting collaboration with parents? Then you may be the one we are looking for!

A BIT ABOUT ME

I am an 11-year-old boy and live with my family in Egtved.

I thrive best in a daily life with clear boundaries, recognizable routines and visual structure, which helps me create an overview and feel secure.

I can have difficulty handling changes and regulating my emotions, and therefore I need the people around me to understand my reaction patterns and know how they best can support me.

My family want support to translate professional recommendations into concrete actions that can create even better conditions for my wellbeing and development.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your task will be to support and guide my parents based on the recommendations that appear in a VISO report, as well as the professional knowledge you bring with you.

The aim is largely to make the professional knowledge understandable, manageable and applicable, so the family has the best possible conditions to translate the recommendations into practice in everyday life.

You will, among other things

  • Review and convey the recommendations from VISO in a way that makes sense for the family.
  • Advise the parents on pedagogical approaches, structure, energy management and understanding Johan's support needs.
  • Help the family translate the recommendations into concrete tools and solutions in daily life.
  • Discuss with the parents about challenges, opportunities and development.
  • Participate in and contribute to the collaboration around a new VISO process.
  • As needed, engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with the school.

You will not be working directly with me.

The task consists solely of advising, sparring and guidance for my mother and father.

QUALIFICATIONS

I imagine that you are a trained pedagogue and have experience with children with special needs and their families.

The most important thing, however, is that you have the right professional understanding and can convey your knowledge so that it becomes usable in practice.

I would like you to

  • Have a pedagogical education or another relevant professional background.
  • Have knowledge about disabilities, emotional regulation, structure and energy management.
  • Have experience with or knowledge of VISO processes and professional assessments.
  • Are good at translating professional recommendations into concrete, clear actions.
  • Can meet parents at eye level and establish a trusting collaboration.
  • Work independently, with appreciation and a solution-oriented approach.

You do not necessarily need to have worked with this exact type of task before. If you have a relevant professional background, a desire to apply your skills and the willingness to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

  • Start date: as soon as possible.
  • Part-time : 2 hours, once a week.
  • Flexibility: You arrange with the family which day of the week and what time suits you best.
  • Application deadline : 10.11.2026
  • Interviews: Ongoing
  • We reserve the right to remove the job posting before the final deadline if the right candidate is found
  • If you have not heard anything by the final deadline, you may assume the position has been filled.
  • A child and criminal record check will be obtained upon employment

salary

An attractive salary is offered.
