Backend developers for public digitisation

Would you like to use your backend skills to develop digital solutions that make a concrete difference for people and society? At NNIT we are looking for developers who want to combine their technical expertise with a clear societal purpose.

About the role

As a backend developer you will have a central role in the design, development and further development of backend components in complex digital solutions for public sector customers. You will join an agile team, where you work closely with other developers, architects, testers and the customer’s domain specialists. Together you translate business needs and technical requirements into secure, scalable and maintainable solutions.

You will work with

• Design, development and maintenance of robust backend components and integrations.
• Data handling, asynchronous processes, messaging and modern integration patterns.
• Data modelling, domain modelling, transactions and handling of data across systems.
• Technical solution choices and architecture in close collaboration with the team and the customer, including microservices and other modern architectural principles.
• Cloud- and container-based environments as well as automation of development, deployment and release processes.
• Secure software development, access control, secure configuration and handling of information security, for example with OAuth 2.0, OIDC or federation.
• Agile working processes, technical sparring, code reviews, quality assurance and ongoing improvements of solutions and workflows.

Who are you?

• We envision that you have solid experience with backend development and contributing to the development of larger digital solutions.
• You have good communication skills and speak and write Danish. You thrive in close collaborations where you find solutions together, and you enjoy working closely with the business and in ongoing dialogue with the customer. You work in a structured manner, take
• Responsibility for the quality of your deliverables and can maintain an overview in complex solutions.

It is also advantageous if you

• Have experience as a consultant from a consulting company
• Have worked with or for public authorities
• Have experience with AI-assisted development

As the assignments are for a public client, you must be able to obtain security clearance.
