Become a machine operator at MELITEK

We are expanding our production teams and are therefore looking for more dedicated plastic operators for our factory in Nr. Alslev, where we manufacture PVC-free plastic for medical devices.

Your daily tasks, together with a colleague, are to be responsible for the operation of one of our production lines, where we process plastic by extrusion.

You will start as a plastic operator, and your colleagues (machine operators) will continuously train you in production and auxiliary equipment as well as WMS (warehouse management system). Your primary tasks range from cleaning production equipment and changing over to new production, ongoing inspection of products and equipment, packaging of finished products, etc., as well as ongoing registrations in accordance with our quality management system (ISO 13485:2016).

About us

Production teams work in 12-hour shifts 3 days a week on day shift (06:00–18:00) or night shift (18:00–06:00) – at present we work 6 days a week. Our products are primarily used for the production of medical devices for our customers and are among other things characterized by being a good alternative to PVC. Your professional qualifications

• Experience working in a production company
• Experience and interest in technology and mechanics
• Experience with IT and quality management systems (QMS)
• You can read and write Danish (batch documentation)
• You have a forklift license (B)

Practical information

The duration of training is individual, and when we assess together with you that you are ready for an internal “exam” and you pass, you will become a machine operator who can train new colleagues. Allowances, pension and other terms of employment follow the Industry Collective Agreement and local agreements.

In addition, we have health insurance as well as a lunch and fruit scheme.
