Become a Project Manager in Jakon's Service Department!

We are seeking for Jakons service department project managers for independent management of their own projects. The term ”service department” may be a bit misleading – the projects typically amount to 500,000 DKK – 10 million DKK. As a project manager in this department you will thus have ample opportunity to manage both larger and smaller projects.

Your area of work will be managing main contracts, large-scale and specialist contracts within renovation and refurbishment. This involves own production in carpentry, subcontractors, material ordering, financial control, quality control, safety etc. You report to the department head/project manager and mostly manage your projects from the site itself.

In the service department we have many solid and good customers, including several framework agreements. As a project manager with us you must therefore be able to maintain and nurture these good customer relationships.

Primary tasks

• Management and project planning
• Responsibility for time management, economy and communication
• Responsibility for ordering and coordinating deliveries as well as ensuring logistics management on the construction site
• Responsibility for coordinating with the client and technical advisors
• Responsibility for entering subcontractor and contractor agreements

We expect that you

• Have experience with management of main contracts with subcontractors and carpentry in-house production, including handling the overall project economy and budgets
• Are educated as e.g. carpenter or joiner or similar. An educational background such as building constructor is considered a plus, but not a requirement
• Act responsibly and have a knack for successful negotiations with an assertive approach
• Are used to, and prefer, to work dynamically and join a solution-oriented team
• Have the ability to delegate and act as sparring partner with colleagues
• Are structured, solution-oriented, rational and able to stay focused in pressurized situations
• Have a motivating and collaborative leadership style
• Have self-awareness and humor
