Become a social- and health care apprentice in Ringsted Municipality – GF2 start January 2027

Then a social and health care education in Ringsted Municipality might be something for you.

We are looking for students for Basic Course 2 (GF2) starting in January 2027. After completing GF2 there is an opportunity to continue in the main course either the social and health care helper education (SSH) or the social and health care assistant education (SSA), which start in June 2027.

Two educations – many possibilities

Social and health care helper (SSH)

As a social and health care helper you are trained to perform personal care, support and practical assistance as well as support citizens' quality of life and independence. You play an important role in citizens' daily lives and collaborate with colleagues to create safety and quality in the care.

Social and health care assistant (SSA)

As a social and health care assistant you are trained to provide holistic care and nursing-related tasks and health professional interventions. You learn to observe, respond to changes in citizens' condition and collaborate across disciplines.

Whichever education you choose, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself both professionally and personally.

The practical

GF2

Start in January 2027 at ZBC.

Main course

Start in June 2027 on either the SSH or SSA program.

You must apply for admission to GF2 via www.optagelse.dk. The total duration of the program depends, among other things, on your educational background and any prior learning. As a student in Ringsted Municipality we ensure you relevant training placements.

• are reliable and engaged in your education
• want to learn and develop professionally
• have an interest in working with people
• can cycle, as the education may include visits to citizens in their own homes
• are non-smoking during working hours

Application

You should apply as soon as possible at www.optagelse.dk to be admitted to Basic Course 2 (GF2) at ZBC. GF2 provides access to the main course.

You will then subsequently be invited to an RKV (real competence assessment) by the school and you should attach it to your application - or bring it to the interview.

Job interviews are held on an ongoing basis, and we therefore encourage you to send your application as soon as possible.
