Become a social and healthcare assistant trainee in Ringsted Municipality – start January 2027

We are seeking SSA trainees for the main course with start in January 2027.

If you may be eligible for credit transfer, your educational program and start time may look different.

As an SSA trainee you will play a central role in citizens' daily lives. You will be trained to provide professional care and support, handle nursing-related tasks, and work closely with colleagues in an interdisciplinary environment.

The practical

The education lasts 2–4 years , depending on your recognition of prior learning. As a trainee, we ensure you access to relevant apprenticeship places. Your school periods can take place in Ringsted, Køge, Slagelse, Næstved or Roskilde – depending on start time and class plan.

We expect that you

• are reliable in attendance and engaged in your education
• are eager to learn and develop professionally
• can take responsibility for your own learning
• can cycle, as the education may involve visiting citizens in their own homes
• are smoke-free during working hours
