Your education progression

• Grundforløb 2 starts in January and lasts 20 weeks
• Passing Grundforløb 2 gives access to the main program as a social and health care assistant
• The main program starts in June 2027 and lasts about 2 years and 10 months

In the education

In Grundforløb 2 you learn the basic theory within the subject and practice skills

• basic subject in Danish and natural science
• communication, collaboration and conflict
• health promotion and disease prevention, rehabilitation
• welfare technology, ergonomics and hygiene

In the main program you learn

• somatic and psychiatric pathology and pharmacology
• to perform nursing with a focus on coordination, quality assurance and documentation
• to develop health education and communication, with particular focus on rehabilitation and prevention
• as a social and health care assistant you have the opportunity to make a difference for others, in an active interaction with the citizen and partners across the health sector

We offer

• an vocational education that includes both apprenticeship and theory
• theory instruction at Vevoskolen in Skive
• apprenticeships in Care & Welfare in Skive Municipality, in psychiatry and Hospitalsenhed Midt
• guidance during the apprenticeship

• take responsibility for your education, both theory and apprenticeship
