About the job

Are you passionate about making a difference in a specialized orthopedic surgical environment, where both acute and planned patient pathways are part of daily life? Do you thrive in complex, multidisciplinary collaborations – and do you bring a contagious mood that lifts both patients and colleagues? Then it might be you we are looking for.

At Ward 0661 we are seeking a new colleague who wants to become part of an engaged team. Here you will encounter a warm collegial culture, a close interdisciplinary collaboration, and a department with 28 acute beds for trauma patients as well as 5 beds for planned operations.

Our everyday? Rarely the same – always meaningful

For us, the patient group spans a wide range – from younger patients with sports injuries, traffic accidents and other traumas, to older patients with fall injuries and fractures. The everyday is dynamic, and no day looks the same. It provides variation, development, and plenty of opportunities to use your full skill set – and your positive energy.

You will become part of a strong multidisciplinary team consisting of doctors, nurses, therapists and healthcare assistants, where we back each other up and make things succeed – even when things are fast-paced.

We work based on Fundamentals of Care , where the relationship with the patient is our driving force. Here professionalism, presence and humanity go hand in hand – and we believe that a positive mindset is contagious.

We are looking for you who…

✔ Are a licensed nurse – preferably with clinical experience (orthopedic surgical experience is an advantage, but not a requirement)

✔ Thrive in the acute setting and can remain calm in acute situations.

✔ Have heart in your work and meet patients with presence and respect

✔ Love professional development – and are not afraid of complex pathways

✔ Take responsibility, but also value a strong team around you

✔ Communicate clearly, positively and with composure – even when there is pace

We offer you

✨ A professionally strong and social team

✨ A structured and secure onboarding – tailored to your level

✨ Opportunity for both professional and personal development

✨ A daily life with both acute and planned patient pathways

✨ Influence on the duty roster

✨ Job size: 32–37 hours/week

✨ Weekend shift every 3 weeks

Who are we?

Ward 0661 consists of about 40 staff in care.

We are a good mix of newly graduated and experienced colleagues – and we care about professionalism and community.

We prioritize the social life on the ward with joint events. In the near future we will move to New North Zealand Hospital in Hillerød with state-of-the-art facilities.
