About the job

Are you ready for a job where no day is the same, and where you make a difference right where people live their everyday lives?

We are looking for new colleagues for our relief corps in district 1 – with start as soon as possible. The position is 30-35 hours per week. You will also participate in a weekend rotation every 8 weeks.

Who are we?

We are part of Service and Civil Protection in Horsens Municipality – a strong team of about 520 colleagues, of which 200 work in the Cleaning Department. We have a clear vision: to be Denmark's best municipal cleaning department.

With us you will have professionally skilled colleagues who both deliver high-quality cleaning and spread good humor.

What does a “flyer team” do?

As a “flyer” you step in when an extra hand is needed – due to illness, vacation or extra tasks. You will travel around District 1 (Østbirk, Egebjerg, Gedved, Dagnæs, Vestbyen and Horsens city center) and you will be paid for the travel time between addresses. You can see your tasks in our system Cleanmanager , so you always know where to go – and what needs to be done.

Start time

The start time is 05:00, so you must be able to get up early, and a normal workday is 6-7 hours. Some days the start time is split, so you meet from 05:00-09:00 and again from 14:00-17:00.

We are looking for you who…

  • Have experience with cleaning work
  • Enjoy meeting new people and working at different places
  • Are independent, but also a team player
  • Have a positive attitude and are flexible
  • Can read, speak and understand Danish
  • Have a driver's license and own car

We offer you…

  • A workday filled with variety
  • Travel allowance according to state rates
  • Flexibility allowance
  • Opportunity for further education
  • A strong colleague community where we take care of each other and value diversity
