At Holbæk Sportsby it buzzes with life. Every day we are visited by many different users who use our sports facilities, halls, swimming pool, ball courts and other areas. We therefore need a colleague who will help ensure stable daily operations, solve practical challenges and ensure that both buildings, technical installations and outdoor sports areas function and present themselves as they should.

Your primary tasks

You will become an important part of the daily operation and maintenance of Holbæk Sportsby. The tasks are varied, and there will rarely be two days that are the same.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Technical operation and maintenance of buildings, sports facilities and technical installations.
• Operation and maintenance of ball courts and outdoor sports areas , including ongoing care, preparation and supervision of the condition of the courts, so they appear well-maintained and are ready for use.

• Maintenance of external areas , including green spaces, pavements and other outdoor areas, so Holbæk Sportsby presents itself inviting, well-organized and safe for users.

• Operation, use and maintenance of machines and equipment , used for the care of ball courts and outdoor areas, including ongoing inspection, cleaning and minor repairs.

•

• Troubleshooting and minor repairs on furniture, doors, locks, fittings and other building components.
• Practical craftsmanship tasks , including minor painting, assembly, adjustments and general maintenance.
• Supervision of technical installations , including boiler plant, ventilation and swimming technology, as well as contributing to daily operations and troubleshooting.
• Preparation and maintenance of facilities , so halls, sports facilities and other areas present themselves inviting and are ready for use.
• Handling of urgent operational tasks , where it is important to find a good and durable solution.
• Practical assistance at events , where we collectively ensure that everything works before, during and after the event.

In addition, we help each other across tasks. That means you should also be prepared to lend a hand where needed – whether it is a technical challenge, a practical task or preparing facilities.

Your profile

We are looking for you who are self-driven, solution-oriented and not afraid to roll up your sleeves. You have a practical approach to tasks, enjoy finding solutions and understand the importance of our facilities functioning for both colleagues and users.

Your educational background can be varied. You may for example have a craft or technical education, but the most important is that you have technical understanding, practical experience and a desire to learn new things.

We imagine that you

• Have technical know-how: You are good at finding faults, solving practical challenges and performing minor repairs.
• Are practically oriented: You thrive in a daily life where you use both head and hands, and where there are times when you need to put in extra effort to complete a task.
• Have an interest in technical installations: You preferably have experience with or want to learn more about operation of technical installations, including boiler house and swimming technology.
• Have an interest in outdoor operations and maintenance: You thrive with outdoor work and preferably have experience with care and maintenance of ball courts, sports areas and green spaces.

• Have technical understanding of machines and equipment: You preferably have experience with operation and maintenance of machines for outdoor operations or a desire to learn it. You can perform routine inspections and minor maintenance tasks and know when further technical assistance is needed.

• Are versatile and flexible: You thrive with different tasks and can adapt when the day's plans change.
• Take responsibility: You work independently, follow up tasks through to the end and indicate if you notice something that requires attention.
• Are a team player: You contribute positively to collaboration and are always ready to help your colleagues when needed.
• Have IT at user level: You can use digital tools and acquaint yourself with our operating systems.

It is also expected that you are prepared to occasionally work at odd hours. We try to plan around it as much as possible, but our activities and events sometimes require flexibility. You must therefore also be prepared to enter into an on-call duty arrangement.
