We are looking for a blacksmith for machine construction and metalworking in Kolding.

You land in a workshop where machines, steel parts and practical solutions fill everyday life. The work targets industry, agriculture and green areas, so it is craftsmanship that must be able to withstand use. The team is around 15 employees, and you switch between independent tasks and tasks with a partner. Here there is both machining, welding and assembly in-house, so you are close to several parts of the process.

The role suits you if you want to take on responsibility without having anyone over your shoulder all day. You get freedom under responsibility, but you don't stand alone when something needs to be discussed professionally. What you’ll get Salary: 230-240 DKK per hour

Area of work: Kolding and surroundings

Colleagues: Approximately 15 employees

Agreement: Employed under applicable collective agreement

Employment: Permanent employment - we are looking for people we can work with for many years. No short-term courses.

Daily work: Metalworking, welding and assembly

Your everyday The daily routine takes place in the workshop, where workpieces must be prepared, machined and moved on to the next step. You will work with machine parts and constructions that typically end up in practical solutions for industry and outdoor operations. Some tasks require calm and precision at your own station, while others make the most sense to solve together with a partner.

You will, among other things, work with

• Machining and preparing workpieces before the next step
• Perform welding tasks in mild steel and other materials
• Assemble parts and machine components in the workshop
• Adjust constructions for industry and green spaces
• Work with machine construction from idea to finished product

When a task changes along the way, you speak up and have it turned around in time. That is the kind of workshop where freedom works best when people take responsibility for both their own work and for those they work with.

We’re looking for someone who can check off most boxes You don’t have to be an expert in every corner of the field. But you must be able to stand behind what you deliver.

We imagine that you

• Have at least 3 years of experience as a blacksmith
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• Have experience with machining, welding or assembly
• Show up reliably and say something if something is off
• Thrive in a workshop where people help each other

It is an advantage if you have experience with machine construction. But the most important thing is that you enjoy a daily life where good craftsmanship and responsibility go hand in hand.
