Blindecenter Bredegaard seeks an experienced and innovative functional manager for the Residences, Team ABC

Blindecenter Bredegaard is a highly specialized residential and day care service under the Danish Social Services Act sections 108, 103 and 104. The target group is adults with visual impairment and multiple functional impairments.

The residential offering consists of 41 homes organized in team ABC, team DE and team F. The day care consists of a § 104 activity and social interaction offer and a § 103 offering with employments in metal work, assembly work, textile work and music and media.

We are organized in a team structure, where we emphasize the highest degree of delegation of tasks and responsibilities. In team ABC, which you will lead, there are about 25 employees employed. The multidisciplinary staff group consists of social educators, occupational therapists, social- and health care assistants and care helpers, who all collaborate to a high degree with the other staff groups at Bredegaard.

You join a leadership team consisting of 3 functional managers and the principal. The leadership team shares a joint responsibility to maintain the development of Bredegaard as a highly qualified offering. You report to the principal.

As daily manager you will undertake the following tasks

• Responsible for core service, goals and documentation as well as the development of this.
• Team and organizational development.
• Financial management.
• Responsible for personnel administrative tasks, including coordination and scheduling of shifts in collaboration with the rota planner.
• Responsible for preparation of action plans.

Your profile

• You are an experienced leader with a diploma in management.
• You have a social work background.
• You have experience leading a multidisciplinary team.
• You focus on user involvement and collaboration with relatives.
• You have experience working with people with visual impairment and multiple functional disabilities.
• You can facilitate innovative processes where employees' competences and ideas are brought into play.
• You would preferably have knowledge of neuroaffective developmental psychology and experience in applying this in organizations.
• You can coordinate and work independently.
• You seek sparring because you want to develop and find solutions.
• You are good at collaborating and provide feedback in a constructive and appreciative manner.
• You are good at promoting the working environment and well-being.

Terms, further information and application deadline

The leadership position is 37 hours. Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and follows the rules on new pay scales.

Start date January 1, 2027.
