As a day care provider (dagplejer) in Årre/Fåborg, you become a daily hero for a group of four lovely children aged 6 months to 3 years. You weave work life and family life together in your own familiar surroundings, and you become part of a strong collegial community among the town's day care providers, who meet about once a week.

You will have all necessary tools available for an educational and fun everyday life, including a pram, toys, high chairs, etc. You collaborate professionally closely with your engaged day care pedagogue on the children's learning and well-being.

• You can immerse yourself and accommodate differences in the children's personalities and development.

• Your home is well furnished, so everyday life becomes happy days, both outdoors and indoors.
• You have a First Aid course at hiring or commit to taking it within the first year – the day care pays for the course and you provide the time.

We offer

• A welcoming monthly salary, of which 60% is tax-free – you must cover the costs for the children's meals yourself.
• The working hours are 48 hours per week in your own home - you earn 7 days of time off per year in addition to holidays and the 6th vacation week.
• You start on pay grade 20. As a trained pedagogue or PAU on pay grade 25, you move up 2 pay grades after 4 years of employment and a further 1 pay grade after 6 years of employment.

The advantage of being a day care provider is certainly that I can organize my everyday life myself, while also being able to supplement with the collegial with the day care group here in the town, where we meet for example in a playroom or outdoors on playgrounds. It is super fun for the children and for us day care providers to meet and be together all day.
