About the job

Would you like to help develop employees, create strong communities, and make a difference for patients?

Imagine a job where you not only take responsibility for daily operations but also have the opportunity to develop staff, strengthen collaboration, and contribute to shaping a changing workplace. That is exactly the opportunity we offer you as team leader for the service area at the Common Emergency and Area 3 at Regional Hospital Viborg.

We are in the midst of an exciting organizational change, where we are developing the way we work and strengthening employees' competencies. You will play a central role in translating new ambitions into a everyday life that works for both staff, patients and our clinical partners.

A leadership job where your effort makes a difference

As team leader you will be a visible and approachable leader for your staff. You will have the opportunity to build a strong team where professionalism, wellbeing and collaboration go hand in hand. We believe that people develop when they experience trust, recognition and clear boundaries.

Service area handles important tasks including patient transport, cleaning and patient transfers – tasks that have great significance for patients' experience and for allowing clinical departments to concentrate on treatment. You will become the leader of a team whose work makes a real difference every single day.

Development of both people and workflows

An important focus is to strengthen employees' competencies so that more can perform different types of tasks. You will have the opportunity to drive this development close to the staff, contribute ideas and find solutions that create value in practice.

You will, among other things, have the opportunity to

  • Develop your leadership skills through personnel management and collaboration with other leaders.
  • Make your mark on everyday life by translating ideas into improvements.
  • Strengthen employees' professionalism and flexibility through learning and competence development.
  • Create coherence in operations through good planning and prioritization.

You will not be alone. You will become part of a department with colleagues and professional specialists you can consult with.

Freedom with responsibility

You will have independent responsibility for your team and for making everyday life work. This includes personnel management, duty rosters, quality follow-up and coordination of daily tasks. Some days require quick solutions and clear priorities. Other days allow for dialogue and long-term improvements.

You will also become part of a larger Service Center with approximately 550 employees, where we succeed through shared responsibility and cross-professional collaboration.

An workplace where you also must develop yourself

We want you to become better by going to work. Our values – dialogue, competence and audacity – reflect our ambition to speak openly with each other, deliver high professional quality and dare to challenge habits. You will meet engaged colleagues and an informal tone of conversation.

Who are you?

We imagine that you are motivated by achieving results through other people. You want to take responsibility, create structure and find solutions – even when everyday life is busy. Perhaps you already have leadership experience from health care or the service sector, or perhaps you are ready to take the next step in your leadership career and have a leadership education in your background.

The most important is that you want to be a present leader who listens, communicates clearly and follows up. We would like you to have experience with duty rostering and resource management, be familiar with Microsoft Office and preferably have knowledge of cleaning and quality standards such as INSTA 800 and NIR.

Since some of our areas operate around the clock, you must be able to arrange your presence so that staff experience managerial support at various times. There is a weekend shift every four weekends in the period 06.00-08.00 and for any on-call duties.

What do you get with you?

As a team leader with us you get more than responsibility for daily operations. You will receive:

  • A central role in the development of an important service area with influence on the daily task solving.
  • Opportunity to strengthen your competencies in personnel management, planning and change work.
  • A professional network and close collaboration with other leaders and specialists.
  • An workplace with engaged colleagues, dialogue and an informal tone of conversation.
