Boarding school teacher with English and Danish wanted

The position is a fixed-term appointment at approximately 75% with start as soon as possible.

The position expires at the end of the school year (26-27) in June 2027.

Glamsdalens Idrætsefterskoles vision is that students experience the school as Denmark's best boarding school, and the school's staff are central to that vision. We are seeking an engaged and academically skilled boarding school teacher who is passionate about making a difference in contact with the students in teaching as well as during after-school time. You must be passionate about teaching English and Danish, which are two of the school's mandatory subjects. The most important, however, is that you enjoy being with young people and being a part of their lives and development.

Also indicate what other teaching competencies you have of an academic, athletic and/or creative nature that could come into play, such as elective subjects. In addition you should – as the most natural – have a strong desire for relationship work with the students in all aspects of boarding school life. Besides teaching you will participate in after-school time, which includes: house tutor duties, evening and weekend shifts, different weeks, special days, m.m.

The position is a fixed-term appointment of about 75% with the possibility to negotiate working hours. The position expires at the end of the school year (26-27) in June 2027.

There will be the possibility of living in a staff apartment on the school premises during the period.

Glamsdalens Idrætsefterskole is a modern boarding school with about 350 students. Employment is in accordance with the agreement between LC and the Ministry of Finance.
