Pediatric Physiotherapist for Hvidovre Children's Therapy

In connection with new tasks in Hvidovre Child Therapy, we have received a staffing expansion and therefore a vacant position as a pediatric physiotherapist at 37 hours/week with starting 1 December 2026. Child Therapy in Hvidovre is organized under the Health Visiting Service and has premises in Hvidovre Family House. We are a therapist group of 8 therapists - 3 occupational therapists and 5 physiotherapists, as well as a therapist professional team leader.

Hvidovre municipality has an ambition to create participation opportunities for all. As part of this strategy, therapists focus on movement and participation in meaningful child communities in both general and specialized day care and schools.

We are seeking a therapist who is passionate about working with children aged 0-18 years, with a large portion of hours within the specialized area, both in school settings and in day care. There will also be tasks related to managing rehabilitation plans and supporting children in ordinary day care. We seek a therapist who sees opportunities to work跨professional and family-oriented in a daily life with many different tasks.

Hvidovre Child Therapy Therapists are a therapist group with high professional competence as well as great security and trust among the therapists. Many tasks are carried out independently in therapy, day care or school. But we also work together both cross-disciplinary and mono-disciplinary. It is emphasized that there is room to ask for help if something is difficult. We prioritize professional development and sparring highly in daily work.

About you You

• Are a licensed physiotherapist with experience from the pediatric field
• Can support the child’s participation opportunities with a focus on movement and participation in meaningful child communities both in general and specialized environments
• Have experience with both training individual children and guiding parents and other partners around the family.
• Thrive on working independently and can maintain an overview in a varied daily life and at the same time enjoy and contribute to cross-disciplinary collaboration
• Have good communication skills both written and spoken
• Have an appreciative and presence-based approach to working with children, families and other partners
• Experience with various standardized tests and screening tools is an advantage

Salary is offered in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
