Physiotherapist sought for temporary position of 15-30 hours per week starting 01/12/2026 at Aarhus Friplejehjem Helheden

Aarhus Friplejehjemmet Helheden opened three years ago, and we are now seeking a therapist in a temporary position who will help develop our home where humanity, care and welfare are in focus, and where we always meet each other with equality and respect.

The home comprises 64 identical apartments with beautiful views over Aarhus. There are common areas with e.g. gym, spaces for chair-based gymnastics and a wellness salon.

We are looking for a physiotherapist who together with management and the rest of the health staff can develop, organize, plan, perform and ensure good quality in the therapeutic work. You will have a unique opportunity to be part of a building phase. It is exciting, and there is ample opportunity to contribute with good ideas and experience.

The retirement home is part of Danske Diakonhjem. We have an approach to care that starts from the belief that each person is unique and valuable. This should permeate our care work so that the individual resident, in addition to being part of the community at the home, experiences that it is their home.

Your main tasks

• Assess training needs, carry out rehabilitation and maintenance training §86
• Be responsible for group training and activity gymnastics
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with care staff and provide sparring on transfers, turning, everyday rehabilitation and ergonomics
• Ordering and purchasing of aids as well as ongoing adjustment and fine-tuning
• Documentation of residents' functional levels etc. in CURA
• Collaboration with relatives and staff
